My Snow Angel
We were hit with a blizzard a couple of days ago (as I'm sure many of you were too). It was like being encapsulated in a snow globe, wasn't it? I love getting huge dumps of snow, especially this time of year. Huge dumps = SNOW DAY! Sophie couldn't wait to get out in it, so we hopped in our snowsuits and went out to play. I heart snow!

Thought You Might Like to Know...
That it's 4:20 AM and I'm up with a cranky baby...kidding.
Sometimes I surf while feeding him in the middle of the night. It helps me stay awake. Well, I just came across a juicy little bargain in my inbox.
Mommies: Heard of Petunia Pickle Bottom? You know, those adorably chic diaper bags with waaaaay too high a price point? Well if you are so inclined, they are having a "secret" outlet sale later today where stuff will be 30-70% off. It starts at 9AM PST (noon for us east coast girls. That's right. I'm still a math wizard at 4AM.)
I got the cute little Asian touring tote pictured above at an outlet sale last year and I loooove it. I get a lot of complements on it too.

Deck The Halls
We awoke yesterday morning to a winter wonderland. It was as pretty as a picture. There's just nothing like the first snow fall of the year. Sophie declared "I go skiing!' as she glanced out the window ('adda girl!) and Ollie was transfixed at his first sight of the white stuff.
We put up our tree yesterday! Bing was playing in the background and it was heavenly. Sophie's totally into the whole Christmas thing this year. She loved decorating the tree and setting up the crèche . I was reflecting yesterday that we are currently living her future memories. Crazy. I hope she has a load of great memories someday from Christmastime.
Are your halls decked yet?

Mullet of the Month - December
Ho Ho Ho-ly chullet!
To heck with the whole naughty or nice crap. If I were Santa, I'd definitely be visiting this kid based on the mullet alone.

Mullet of the Month - November
I guess I'm squeezing this month's mullet in by a hair. Blame the swine flu. The good news is you get a mullet today and a a mullet tomorrow. Life is good.
Here's a Skullet. You know, where buddy is balding up top and over compensates for it in the back...
rrrrrrrroaw! Down girl! That is one. hot. skullet.
(And if it doesn't scream mid-life crisis, I don't know what does.)

My Turn...

...To be sick. Yes, I had done so well for so long. Thwarting off all of the swiney illnesses that had made their rounds through this house. The final assault was Sophie coming down with a cold at the end of the week. I heard my poor immune system cry: "I quit this biotch" and sure enough, the virus overcame me. I feel pretty miserable. I desperately want to fall into a blissful, Nyquil-induced coma but can't because I'm nursing. After this post you can find me sitting right here in bed, scouring the "internets" for a bubble large enough to encompass my house. Pass along the link if you know of any.
